Today is a very great day for me. Friday, May 28th 2010 I have my dream came true. One of my dream that I kept it for four-ish years. I kept it on my heart and my mind and promised to myself that one day I will have it. It’s not about a girlfriend. No. It’s about a computer. It’s a notebook.

Observed and keep remind about my own budget and what I need to do with the notebook, I bought an ASUS-A42JR from Mangga Dua Mall’s store. Well, actually I found it from Kaskus and followed it up to the store. That was about dealing transaction.

The notebook comes with no operating system (OS). I like its because I need to install with some OS. But, first I installed Microsoft Windows 7 to test everything.

When I was testing with the Windows rate, I found the highest rating is processor with 6.2 point. 3D graphic/gaming is like my expectation with result point is 6.2 either. But, even the 3D gaming got 6.2 the Aero performance is just 4.9 which is the lowest rate. I don’t understand, though why the Aero is the lowest rating. It’s fine because I need it not for games. Yeah, I am going to play some games to refresh my mind. May be Crysis or Call of Duty 7. :D

I’m have installed it with OpenSolaris 2010 Dev-134 too which I downloaded yesterday when the GRUB is broken. So, I’m going to install it next time.
